“…[F]or to travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive…”
-Robert Louis Stevenson

Welcome to MuseumRoadTrip.com. I am glad you came. My name is Bloice Davison and I am the founder and creator of this website. If you are like me, you have a fascination with museums, and I mean museums of all kinds. If you enjoy museums, then you came to the right website. Museumroadtrip.com aims to be your chief source for museum information and reviews. When you are on a museum road trip or when you just have the day to yourself, time is limited, so you want to know, prior to your trip or your day off, which museums are the most unique, interesting, and engaging.

I have been to museums in the United States, Canada, Denmark, Sweden. And, regardless of where I travel, I always seek out museums. I can’t get enough of them: art museums, history museums, aircraft museums, sports museums, car museums, and science museums to name a few; the list of the different types of museums is endless. Just as there are numerous types of restaurants, there are numerous types of museums.

There are, according to The American Association Of Museums, more than 17,000 museums in the United States. Each year American museums receive 850 million visitors, and the median admission price is only $7.00. Museums are fun, educational, inexpensive, and plentiful.

You will notice frequent updates on this site. I will add new museum reviews often, and as you follow this site, we will travel together. I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to leave your comments on each review that we post, as I want to read about your experience at the same museums that my guest writers and I have visited.

My hope is that this website will be a part of your travels around America and Canada as you seek out the most intriguing museums. This is a lifelong journey that we can take together. Will you join me?
